Tengwar Anthologies were premium collector's products which were the primary means of distributing Tengwar cards. Each Anthology came with a quality box capable of holding up to 600 cards, several Booster Packs from various sets within the block, 18 cards rendered with Tengwar lettering instead of English, and a booklet which contained the translations of each card with a checklist for the block (except for the WOTR Anthology, which omitted the booklet for unknown reasons).
Anthologies were released one per block, usually a few months after a block was superseded. This was presumably so that the cards chosen could be properly selected as the highlights of the block, rather than guessing beforehand. There was never an Anthology released for Hunters Block , as by that time Decipher had imploded and there were barely enough employees left to get the block out the door, let alone any supplementary product.
