Tank

A tank is an informal game term for a character with high strength. Usually this is a companion like Aragorn, Durin III, Dwarven Lord (9R+3) , or Grimbeorn, Beorning Chieftain (14R6) handling any skirmishes with single dangerous minions, essentially "tanking" for the weaker companions, in the same sense that MMORPG players use the term. A "tank" deck is a deck full of such characters, usually a Free Peoples deck like Token Tanks but occasionally a Shadow deck like Troll Swarm.
