Tutoring is an informal game term, named after "Demonic Tutor," a card from Magic: the Gathering. Tutoring a card means searching your deck (or occasionally Discard pile) for it, usually (but not always) to put that card into hand. Saved From the Fire (8R20) and Captured by the Ring (7C53) are tutors, and Gandalf and Gollum cultures both are known for tutor effects.
