Strategy[edit]

Peace of Mind is rarely used, and isn't very good. It competes with Have Patience (4C93) , which is less powerful but can heal any companion (including Gandalf himself!) and is a bit cheaper to boot. It also competes with the also-rarely-played Store-room (4U320) , which is weaker, but much cheaper, and can still be played if Gandalf isn't in play.

If healing unbound hobbits in particular is very important to you, there are stronger and more versatile alternatives that do not involve using Gandalf or generating this much twilight. You can use the "bouncing" hobbits Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver (7R324) and/or Merry, Swordthain (7R321) (who remove all their wounds when they return to your hand), A Light in His Mind (10U108) combined with The Shire Countryside (3R113) and some source of burdens, or the Hobbit Hospital strategy of Hobbit Party Guest (1C297) / Farmer Maggot, Chaser of Rascals (1R288) / Frodo, Old Bilbo's Heir (1R289) .
