The King Draft Pack is a semi-random pack of cards designed to enable drafting of cards from King Block. Unlike the Fellowship Draft Pack and the Towers Draft Pack, it is not designed by decipher. King Draft Pack is only virtual product made for online platform GEMP.

Draft Packs are broken down as follows:

Four fixed cards are included to make the game playable and balanced.

"Wheels" were Decipher's method for keeping draft packs semi-random, without compromising the cohesion of the included cards. Each wheel is a (looping) list of cards, which is divided into smaller thematic sections. This provides players with a foundation for further drafting the deck while also keeping enough flexibility to work with a number of strategies.

The Shadow Wheel is 60 cards, and the two Free Peoples Wheels are each 30 cards.

The runs are Ringwraith Cirith Ungol Orcs, Raider Threat, Sauron Threat, Ringwraith Nazgul, Raider Wound, and Sauron Uruk-hai.

  1. Úlairë Enquëa, Lieutenant of Morgul (1U231) added to core cards,
  2. swapped position of Shire and Gollum sections in FP Wheel 2 to allow starting with Gandalf + Smeagol,
  3. replaced Noble Intentions (1C304) with A Marvel (10C110) in FP Wheel 2,
  4. replaced Desert Spearman (4C221) , Desert Soldier (4U220) , Southron Bandit (7U160) , and Raider Bow (7C155) with Desert Scout (7U134) , Desert Runner (7C133) , Corsair Plunderer (8C58) , and Harsh Tongues (7C150) in Shadow Wheel.
