It is a [brief description of usage], so its demand is [enormous | relatively high | average | relatively low | nonexistent].

  • As a Rare, Horn of Boromir has a 1 in 40 (~2.5%) chance of being present in any RotEL booster pack, and a 3 in 40 (~7.5%) chance of being in any RotEL starter deck.
  • Foil versions of Movie-era Rare cards were randomly selected to be inserted into booster packs at a rate of 1 out of 26 packs (~3.8% of packs). This means any given RotEL booster pack had a 1 in 3,146 (~0.096%) chance of containing a foil Horn of Boromir.
  • Realms of the Elf-lords was printed (both standard and foil) in 5 languages other than English: German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Polish.

Card Image Identifier Notes
English • Nonfoil
English • Nonfoil The permanent Rule of 9 circumvention is the worst aspect of this card. We have started with requiring a discard, so that multiple such usages require multiple backups, but this may prove to be insufficient. If the PC needs to return to this card in the future, it will probably be with a complete rework to the concept.

There is no cultural enforcement on the special ability of this card. This permanent effectively circumvents the rule of 9 by allowing non-companions to skirmish.
