Strategy[edit]
Skeptical Guide is one of the more interesting versions of Legolas, though he is not the most useful. The ability to trade 2 threats for a wound is expensive and runs out fast, so without threat removal like Citadel to Gate (7R33) , Into the West (7C23) , and Stronger and More Terrible (8C47) , he will be a dead card. Most times he is outshone by cards like Legolas, Greenleaf (1R50) and Legolas, Woodland Emissary (11R22) , and is much weaker than Aragorn’s Bow, Ranger's Longbow (15R56) . With the prevalence of threat adding in the Expanded and Standard meta, he is very unreliable.
Strengths and Weaknesses[edit]
Synergizes With...[edit]

Weak Versus...[edit]
- Threat addition, namely, Úlairë Lemenya, Eternally Threatening (15R185) , Úlairë Cantëa, Faster Than Winds (7R211) , and White Hand Taskmaster (17R132)
- Rallying Call (10U47) , which in addition to adding threats prevents them from being removed
