Strategy
A counter to 
Shire-heavy decks, Hide and Seek is a cheap damage bonus for a Moria minion. It can be used in conjunction to cards like Cave Troll of Moria, Scourge of the Black Pit (1R165)
or
to pull a surprise kill on a companion.
However, most decks, even in Fellowship Block, only have Frodo as a hobbit, though some also play Sam, Son of Hamfast (1C311)
for burden removal. Especially after alternate Ring-bearers were released, Hise and Seek remained and remains in obscurity.
