Gameplay Strategy[edit]
Grimir has an obvious synergy with Dwarven conditions and possessions. Putting him in a deck as a safeguard can be very effective, but his ability can be costly, depending on whether you conditions are particularly valuable. If you pack situational conditions and use Grimir, your Dwarves can be nigh on undestructable. Also, with a Preparations (7R12) build, you can protect yourself from wounding shadows attacking your wounded Dwarves.
Deckbuilding Strategy[edit]
- Grimir fits solidly into a Dwarven condition deck, with situational cards like Till Durin Wakes Again (2C14) . Using him and Dain Ironfoot, King Under the Mountain (14R1) can easily enable double moves.
- Work as a safeguard in a Token Dwarves build.
Strengths and Weaknesses[edit]
