Strategy[edit]

Safe Paths is a suicidally bad card. If you hand your opponent five twilight and three Shadow cards of their choice, they should just simply destroy you when you move to the next site. Wounding minions in the regroup phase and increasing the move limit are not benefits worth this horrible cost.

The Gollum cards in Ents of Fangorn are mirrored pairs, with a Free Peoples card and a Shadow card that have matching opposite effects. This card's Shadow counterpart is another useless card, Master Broke His Promise (6R41) .
