As a card from the Mount Doom set, Data:Galadriel, Lady Redeemed (10R11) was primarily gained through [standard booster packs | as a card in the XXX starter deck | direct purchase from the XXX product | explanation of promotional distribution], or sometimes as [a random rare in a starter deck]. It is a [brief description of usage], so its demand is [enormous | relatively high | average | relatively low | nonexistent].

 • As a Rare, Lady Redeemed has a 1 in 40 (~2.5%) chance of being present in any MD booster pack, and a 3 in 40 (~7.5%) chance of being in any MD starter deck.
 • Foil versions of Movie-era Rare cards were randomly selected to be inserted into booster packs at a rate of 1 out of 26 packs (~3.8% of packs). This means any given MD booster pack had a 1 in 3,146 (~0.096%) chance of containing a foil Lady Redeemed.
 • Mount Doom was printed (both standard and foil) in 3 languages other than English: German, French, and Italian.

GLR is in an awkward spot. On the one hand, she's an apex predator that synergizes far too well with Círdan, The Shipwright (10R8)START_WIDGET"'-c1c20b2e638ff236END_WIDGET and other Elvent staples. On the other hand, she's an apex predator that helps keep Corsairs, Grond, and others in check.

In the end, we have restricted her ability usage to once per phase. We will come for her again in the future, but not until the the cure isn't worse than the disease. Decipher Notes:

Galadriel, Lady Redeemed has proven over time to be too cost-effective at counteracting too broad a range of possible strategies. Much like Legolas, Dauntless Hunter (4R73)START_WIDGET"'-a45104a2e8d8d298END_WIDGET before it was added to the X-List, this Galadriel's impact on the tournament environment could be seen in the shrinking number of decks making any serious use of Shadow conditions (and possessions). Removing Galadriel from the Standard format makes way for many dozens of possible condition-oriented strategies to become competitive.
