First level is a very cheap fortification.  It comes into play free if Strong and Old is out.  It also only needs to spot a single Knight, rather than 3 Knights, to transfer. Since First Level transfers during the maneuver phase, it can be used effectively in conjunction with Alcarin or Turgon. First Level is also good fodder for Fifth Level.

Strategy[edit]

First level is a very cheap Fortification. It comes into play free if Strong and Old (7R122) is out. It also only needs to spot a single Knight, rather than 3 Knights, to transfer. Since First Level transfers during the maneuver phase, it can be used effectively in conjunction with Alcarin, Warrior of Lamedon (5R31) or Turgon, Man of Belfalas (5U42) . First Level is also good fodder for Fifth Level (10U32) .
