Collection Info
As a card from the Fellowship of the Ring set, Gimli, Son of Gloin (1R13) was primarily gained through standard booster packs (or as a random rare in a starter deck). He is the primary Dwarven skirmisher of FOTR block, so his demand is (enormous|relatively high|average|relatively low|nonexistent)
- As a Rare, Gimli had a 1/121 chance of being present in any FOTR booster pack, and a 3/121 chance of being in a starter deck.
- Foil versions were randomly selected to be inserted into booster packs at a rate of 1 out of 6 packs having a foil, which might have been any card from the set. This means any given FOTR booster pack had a 1/2,190 chance of containing a foil Gimli.
- Fellowship of the Ring was printed (both standard and foil) in 7 languages other than English: German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, and Chinese.
- This card was reprinted with different text, resulting in an A version with the following text: blah blah.
- Gimli also had an uncommon misprint where the image was upside down.
Images of the above varieties are shown below:
