Single-serie Movie Block Sealed

Single-serie Movie Block Sealed is a variant of the Movie Block Sealed format ran on GEMP. Like its multi-serie counterpart, this format uses fan-made starter decks customized to be more competitive than the default Decipher Starter Decks. The main difference between the two is that in the single-serie variant all sealed material is produced up-front instead of spreading it over 4 (or more) weeks. This makes it more accessible for use in one-shot tournaments and other single-day events.

Each player receives each of the following:

• Player's choice of any of the 9 customized starters from Movie Block Sealed (see that article for decklists)
• 1x of each Movie-block booster (minus Reflections), 9 total
• 6x Player's choice of any booster from any Movie set (minus Reflections)

As with most sealed events, it is usually prudent to open the 9 fixed boosters first, then select a starter that best fits the opened material, then finally choose boosters from sets that are most likely to be compatible for the last 6. However, some may prefer to open all boosters before selecting a starter last.
