Strategy
Boromir's Cloak is a tech card to deal with Saruman's Snows (1C138) or occasionally Wizard Storm (2U48) , which are otherwise not cards that you can remove using only Gondor cards. It's weaker and less versatile than Make Light of Burdens (2R11) or condition removal cards in other cultures, like Secret Sentinels (2R20) , Sleep, Caradhras (1C84) , Deep in Thought (3C30) , or Let Us Be Swift (5C85) , so if your deck can practically use one of those cards, definitely go ahead and do that instead.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strong Versus...
- Saruman's Snows (1C138) and Wizard Storm (2U48) . The other weather conditions are weak and rarely played.
Weak Versus...
- Every deck that isn't running one of those two cards. This is as narrowly-applicable as tech cards come.
