Strategy
With a 1:1 wound/threat ratio, Armor of Khazad makes for some the strongest wound prevention available to Dwarves. Armor of Khazad makes handling cards like Ghastly Wound, Scouting Orc (with a warg) and They Stole It much easier, and it completely negates Not This Time!. Dwarves generally lack threat removal, so combining them with another culture that offers some options such as Elven Long Knife, Hearts Raised or Citadel to Gate can allow this card to be used over and over. Its main weakness is that (Unlike Throne of the Golden Hall) it only helps its bearer (This can make Her Ladyship especially harmful), so packing multiples is advisable.
The regroup effect of Armor of Khazad can help address possession discard and mill effects, at the cost of slowing cycling (Since the cards fetched by it can't be played until the subsequent turn). It can also fetch other copies of Armor of Khazad to repeat the effect later.

- The phrase "other [Dwarf] possessions" in this card's regroup effect excludes getting this copy of Armor of Khazad back, but other copies of Armor of Khazad can be pulled if desired.
