Downloading is an informal game term, taken from the Star Trek Collectable Card Game, one of [[Decipher]]'s predecessors to this game. Downloading a card is a nickname for an effect that searches your deck for a card and puts it into play. {{Card|Gamling, Defender of the Hornburg}} downloads [[possession]]s onto himself, for example.
