Strategy[edit]

Gameplay Strategy[edit]

Axe of Khazad-Dûm is a slightly more expensive alternative to Dwarven Axe (1C9) , with the obvious disadvantage of costing 1 twilight. It does provide a damage bonus at mountain sites, which fits into the mountain dwarves strategy snugly. However, it is generally less useful than Dwarven Axe overall as mountains were less common in sites from sets 11-13, but was given new life by Thorin's Harp (18C3) in set 17.

Deckbuilding Strategy[edit]

  • Axe of Khazad-Dûm has an obvious place in the Mountain Dwarf strategy in Standard and Expanded.
