= General Strategy =

A cheap and cheerful[isengard] minion with no text, Orthanc Warrior can be contrasted with Uruk Soldier from set 1, with the difference being the extra vitality over the other uruk's text. Since randomly discarding cards from an opponent's deck is unreliable unless a player's whole deck is built around it, Orthanc Warrior is usually a better choice for a deck, as having 2 vitality makes it more resistant to archery and wounding capabilities. Its strength is decent for a[2] cost minion, making Orthanc Warrior a reasonable choice of small minion for a player's deck.

= Strengths and Weaknesses =

=== Strong Versus... ===

* More resilient than the similar Uruk Soldier
* Effective against choke strategies, and unlikely to clog a player's hand

=== Weak Versus... ===

* Doomed to lose against consistently strong characters
* May be too cheap against decks that flood the twilight pool, leaving the Shadow Player unable to use all the twilight.
