Skirmish Cancellation is an informal game term. It refers to the strategy of using cards to cancel and prevent skirmishes, rather than fighting minions. The first viable Skirmish Canceling strategy in [[Fellowship Block]] relied on {{Card|Hobbit Intuition}} and {{Card|Hobbit Stealth}} from sites 1-5, but had little else than {{Card|Filibert Bolger}} for the remainder of the game.
