Editing King Standard Sealed

'''King Standard Sealed''' is a [[Sealed]] format ran on [[GEMP]] that uses special starter decks, customized to be more competitive than the default Decipher [[Starter Deck]]s. It is the third of such Sealed formats, following [[Movie Block Sealed]] and [[Towers Standard Sealed.]] Players play through 4 series (each series running for at least a week), choosing between 1 of 3 starters and receiving various booster packs at the start of each series.  Decks must use the [[King Block]] site path and are restricted to only cards opened during the league.  As it is a league, players are able (and encouraged) to rework their decks as needed in between matches.

Each series provides decks that are in some way thematic or strategic. In the first series, each player receives booster packs from all the base sets and choose from one of three starter decks, focused on minion, wound, or initiative management. The second series issues packs from the first expansion of Blocks 1 and 2 with an additional booster choice from Sets 1 through 7 and a starter deck choice based on a location/event from the Two Towers. The third serie issues packs from the second expansion of each Block with additional booster choice and a starter deck choice based on three different means of site control.  The fourth series issues six booster packs of the player's choice from Sets 1 through 7.
