You Have My Sword is one of the several tools that V1 gave to Aragorn signets. This condition gives a solid 2 strength bonus, but with the drawback of exerting Aragorn to keep it. Thus, You Have My Sword is usually used as a boost for Frodo to keep him from being overwhelmed.

An unorthodox use of this would be to place it on a companion bearing Banner of Westernesse. This allows for continued use for free. However, it's not a great combo unless you have a strong companion already, who doesn't need bonuses from Hand Weapons. Gondor Wraiths are usually a good candidate here, as King of the Dead, Oathbreaker can get up to 13 strength once exhausted. In PC Formats where Swept Away has received a buff errata, this is a strong combo, enabling King of the Dead to beat an unaided Witch-King easily.
