General Strategy
The text of Moria Lake is not generally very useful, as every Fellowship has Frodo, and most players are quite happy to exert him rather than two of their fighters. While useful for wounding shadows, Dwarrowdelf chamber is usually a better choice, as there are many fellowships that do not use Gimli. Likewise, [moria] archery gets more benefit from Great Chasm. As such, Moria Lake's benefits come mostly from its statistics: it is not underground, so it is handy for Asfaloth users, it has a relatively high shadow number (That can't be lowered by Gimli, DotMR), and it is a marsh, so it is one of two possible sites to play Watcher in the Water, Keeper of Westgate at, with the other being Midgewater Marshes. Moria Lake is also useful for Twilight Nazgul anti-Frodo decks (Using The Witch King, Lord of the Nazgul; Ulaire Enquea, Ringwraith in Twilight and Resistance Becomes Unbearable).
