This version of Gimli is a fascinating one, with a unique ability to draw a card each time he wins a skirmish. This trick could be used to manipulate initiative, with powerful cards like {{Card|Glimpse of Fate}} and {{Card|Brooding on Tomorrow}}. Another use would be to draw cards off the top of your deck to get skirmish events, or to get important cards for your fellowship. If you are at {{Card|Starkhorn}}, the ability to draw two cards every time Gimli wins a skirmish can be potent.
