ROOTPAGENAME is a Dwarven Companion from the Promotional set. It was distributed as a prize for players who participated in digital leagues for the Lord of the Rings Online TCG in March 2005.  The card is itself a cut-down version of the much more elaborate Customizable League Card used in the online client, representing a version of the card with 2 points invested into its customization (out of 30).  Due to the relatively low popularity of signups for those leagues, the card remains one of the rarest in the game; its high price is purely due to that rarity, as the gameplay appeal is rock-bottom.

Zero game text is not worth the additional +1 strength over any other Gimli.  Choose another one, literally any one.
A worthless version of Gimli who is strength +1 over the base strength for all other copies of Gimli, but who is missing game text of any kindFind another version that supports your deck's strategy (you can default to Son of Gloin if you honestly can't find anything).

Trivia
For collector's reasons and rarity this particular version of Gimli is extremely expensive, in spite of his uselessness in the game's setting.
