Vicious Weapon is an interesting variant of Gimli's Axe, being the only one that does not grant some sort of damage bonus. It also is one of the few dwarven direct wounding cards, though it is conditional. Vicious Weapon also grants the keyword Muster to any Dwarf bearing it, making this axe a good cycling tool, as well as one that makes defending the Ring-Bearer easier.
