Part of the cycle of silver bullet events in Realms of the Elf-Lords, Can You Protect Me From Yourself? is a specific Aragorn, and even more specifically Aragorn's Bow counter.
Gameplay Strategy
In this section, describe:

As Aragorn is the most popular companion in Fellowship Block (with the possible exception of Gandalf), at first sight this event makes sense. A chance to exhaust Aragorn, making him vulnerable to death even with pesky Armor on him, is always good. Plus it is a free event you can play or cycle out even with Aragorn off the table. In addition, the burdens could go towards Orthanc Berserker exhausting him later instead.

However, this is a view of the card without FOTR's meta taken into consideration. With Narya, Sam, Son of Hamfast, and Elf-Song running rampant, there is really no chance of those burdens getting used for anything, making the secondary effect practically useless. On top of that, the primary effect is offset by the fact that Elrond, Herald to Gil-Galad is popular, and is capable of healing Aragorn in regroup. Plus Aragorn often sports as many as 13 base strength, making him hard to beat.
Deckbuilding Strategy
In this section, describe:

After FOTR Block, Can You Protect Me From Yourself becomes even more useless. Aragorn becomes less popular as alternatives such as Eomer, Third Marshal Of Riddermark and Elendil, The Tall became options for powerful tanks in Towers and Movie formats. In addition, Isengard also decreased in popularity in Movie Block and War of the Ring Block. In short, this event is most likely a worthless addition to your deck, better replaced by Bred for Battle, Savagery to Match Their Numbers, or Palantir of Orthanc.
