General Strategy
Ulaire Cantea, Lieutenant of Dol Guldur is among the most powerful minions in the Fellowship of the Ring set. While his base strength of 10 puts him just above the average minion from the block, it is Cantea's game-shifting text that makes him so formidable. With the ability to remove up to two weapons from a skirmishing opponent, Ulaire Cantea, Lieutenant of Dol Guldur can discard the pesky Elven Bow, Flaming Brand, Gwemegil, or even Sting from a strong fighter.
At Ford of Bruinen, Ulaire Cantea, Lieutenant of Dol Guldur is free; he costs [3] at all other sites with Morgul Gates, making him a common pair with the Witch-King or Ulaire Attea, Keeper of Dol Guldur.
