A fairly fragile condition which can be discarded not only by your opponent, but also by its own text. It is also only effective against Aragorn and Boromir in Fellowship Block, making it a bit limited. On the other hand, these two companions are the strongest in Fellowship Block, and at least one of them is usually seen in most decks. Gleaming Spires Will Crumble can be mildly effective in [sauron] beatdown along with cards such as Orc Banner, Enheartened Foe, Orc Pillager and Morgul Hunter. If you are using this card you should avoid using weak [sauron] minions, as they will lose you the condition - because of this, you may find it more useful to include some minions of other cultures, as these can lose skirmishes without discarding Gleaming Spires Will Crumble.

= Strengths and Weaknesses =

=== Strong Versus... ===

* [Gondor] characters
* As a non-unique [Sauron] condition, Gleaming Spires is 'stackable'
* Non-unique, low cost option to add tokens to Some Secret Art of Flame, although other [1] cost options such as Orc Banner may be superior

=== Weak Versus... ===

* Skirmish wounding
* High strength, non-[Gondor] companions (Gandalf, Gloin, Treebeard)
* Condition Discard
