The Dark Lord's Summons can potentially discard an important Free Peoples card, so a form of telepathy or deck manipulation is best utilized with this card. Seeking Its Master is possibly a better hand extension card in Fellowship block, though Battle of Helms Deep expansion additions such as Grishnakh, Orc Captain and Orc Runner redefined the[Sauron] card drawing engine.
