__NOTOC__ SetTabs =The Hunters= The Hunters is the first set of Hunters Block, and the fifteenth set overall. The Hunters is generally regarded as one of the most egregious examples of power creep, as it contained cards whose effectiveness far surpassed many before them. Some of these egregious examples of power creep are Madril, Defender of Osgiliath, Ithilien Blade, Aragorn, Thorongil, and Mountain-Troll. The Hunters introduced the controversial new loaded keyword, Hunter. The Comprehensive Rules 4.1 defines Hunter "This keyword has the form of "Hunter X" where "X" is the strength bonus the character receives when skirmishing a character that does not have the hunter keyword." This keyword was extraordinarily powerful, as it rendered all previous minions weaker than those with Hunter keywords. Set Table
