{{Stub}} A '''Cube''' refers to a specially-prepared set of cards intended to replace the role of randomized [[Booster Pack]]s in Draft modes, and such an event using cubes is called a [[Cube Draft]]. Unlike boosters (which are inevitably filled with a certain amount of unusable crud as dictated by the standard CCG business model), cubes can instead concern themselves with creating a fun, balanced set of randomized cards. Cubes will often enforce balance by simply not including the worst offending cards, or ensuring that both parts of a cruel combo cannot be obtained at once. Several cubes have been created for the LOTR-TCG over the years, but most tend to not get posted online, requiring the wheel to be reinvented each time.
