= General Strategy =

Radagast Deceived, along with Pallando Deceived and Alatar Deceived make up the three wizard conditions of Bloodlines. Radagast Deceived is the most difficult of the three to trigger with Saruman alone, as the Shadow player needs to both wound/exert him and then heal him before the last skirmish. The best versions of Saruman for this purpose are the [Uruk-hai] versions: Curunir, Agent of the Dark Lord and Master of the White Hand. Defensive Rush, Fury of the Evil Army or the built-in effects of Curunir and Agent of the Dark Lord can then be used for healing. In this case, the Shadow player will usually only get a fierce skirmish for Radagast Deceived.

If this card becomes a minion during a normal skirmish phase, it will not be assigned until the fierce assignment phase, and so will only participate in fierce skirmishes. If this card becomes a minion during a fierce skirmish phase, it will never get a chance to be assigned.
