Arguably one of the strongest Gandalfs ever released, Wise Guide is a popular choice in Expanded format. His powerful ability to block any event played is particularly useful in blocking {{Card|Saruman's Power}} support area sweeps and {{Card|Sudden Strike}} minion fetching. His ability to do these things is accentuated by the massive amount of vitality boosters in the Gandalf culture, such as {{Card|Narya}} and {{Card|Shadowfax, Greatest of the Mearas}}. Used alongside condition heavy fellowships with powerful effects, or with fellowships that exert for their abilities, this Gandalf could be the perfect fit to protect your fellowship.
