Overwhelming is a problem with any deck in Fellowship block that packs a Balrog (e.g. nearly all of them) and any deck that has a Witch King, Lurtz, Cave Troll, or other such heavy, expensive unit (e.g. the rest of them). Increasing the limit from double your companion's strength to triple is a massive boon; instead of a strength of 12 to overwhelm the standard unarmed Gimli (easily obtainable), it's now 18 (much less so) and each additional point of strength you add to your own companion requires your opponent match with an increase of 3 instead of 2. | Overwhelming is a problem with any deck in Fellowship block that packs a Balrog (e.g. nearly all of them) and any deck that has a Witch King, Lurtz, Cave Troll, or other such heavy, expensive unit (e.g. the rest of them).
