Shelob's Lair was the set originally planned to be released as #17 in March 2007 (as shown on the Oversized promotional card The One Ring (4M1) ), but due to Decipher's cycle of delays and layoffs, the set was cut from the schedule. No preliminary work was ever done on the set beyond the name, which presumably would have been themed around Gollum and Shelob.
