Elf

The Elf race is used exclusively by Companions and Allies in the Elven culture. Characters with the Elf race hail from nearly all of the possible places they could, including Rivendell, Lothlorien, Mirkwood, and the Grey Havens.

The Elf race is usually used in lieu of the culture when referencing characters, since there are no Elves outside the culture.

Various versions of Legolas make up a large portion of the Elf race in the Movie era, but not quite as complete a dominance as Gimli does for the Dwarf race.

	Naith Warband (6R23)	Elven	Companion • Elf	To play, spot 3 Elf companions. While Naith Warband bears a ranged weapon, it takes no more than 1 wound during each skirmish phase and does not add to the fellowship archery total.
	Arwen, Fair Elf Maiden (7R16)	Elven	Companion • Elf	While skirmishing a fierce minion, Arwen is strength +3.
	Elrond, Elven Lord (7R21)	Elven	Companion • Elf	To play, spot Aragorn or an Elf. At the start of each turn, you may exert Elrond to heal a character bearing an artifact.
	Legolas, Fearless Marksman (7R25)	Elven	Companion • Elf	Archer. Archery: If you have initiative, discard 4 cards from hand to wound a minion.
	Legolas, Nimble Warrior (7C26)	Elven	Companion • Elf	Archer. Archery: If you cannot spot a threat, add a threat to make the fellowship archery total +1.

	Círdan, The Shipwright (10R8)	Elven	Companion • Elf	To play, spot 2 Elves. Skirmish: Exert Círdan to make a minion he is skirmishing strength –1 for each event in your discard pile.
	Elrond, Venerable Lord (10R9)	Elven	Companion • Elf	To play, spot an Elf. At the start of each skirmish involving Elrond, you may reveal the top card of your draw deck. If it is an card, you may heal another Elf.
	Galadriel, Lady Redeemed (10R11)	Elven	Companion • Elf	When Galadriel is in your starting fellowship, her twilight cost is –3. Fellowship or Regroup: Discard an event from hand to discard a Shadow condition or Shadow possession.
	Arwen, Staunch Defender (11U15)	Elven	Companion • Elf	Each minion skirmishing Arwen is strength –1 for each forest site on the adventure path.
	Elven Scout (11S18)	Elven	Companion • Elf	While you can spot another Elf, this companion has muster. (At the start of the regroup phase, you may discard a card from hand to draw a card.)
