Drums in the Deep is one of the basic {{C|Moria}} pumps, with the others being Denizens Enraged and Unfamiliar Territory. Drums in the Deep is likely the least useful of the three, as its extra bonus is against dwarves, who are not often used in Fellowship Block. On top of this, the pump isn’t really necessary, as the large [moria] orcs can win skirmishes regardless (Particularly when using Moria Axe, or even Goblin Scimitar), and the small orcs don’t really need to win skirmishes. In spite of this, the pump is free and can be a surprise against opponents (Particularly when used against Frodo). It could also be helpful with overwhelming dwarves at the beginning, before they have become fully set up.
Although at first glance Flurry of Blows seems a basic pump for Dwarves, it is actually much, much more. Compared with {{Card|Their Halls of Stone}}, which offers an identical base +2 with a marginally worse +4 (as opposed to +4 and '''damage +1'''), Flurry of Blows seems obviously the better choice, even given its slightly higher twilight cost. But if you keep looking, the condition for that +4 is where Flurry really takes the upper hand. Their Halls requires an underground site, which – in Fellowship block – is definitely site 5 and maybe site 4. Whereas Flurry merely asks your Dwarf be bearing 2 hand weapons ― a condition wholly in your control and possible at any site!

== Deckbuilding Strategy ==

Flurry of Blows synergizes well with {{Card|Gimli's Battle Axe}}; '''damage +3''' is enough to take out any minion, as well another wound against Orcs, but works poorly against skirmish ability cancelling effects (such as {{Card|Saruman's Snows}} and {{Card|Cavern Entrance}}. Choke decks wanting to double move might consider {{Card|Their Halls of Stone}} or other pumps ({{Card|Axe Strike}}, or {{Card|Battle Fury}}), but what kind of choke deck are you making that needs Dwarf pumps?
